The lease is signed, sealed, and delivered! I’m moving back to L.A.!
At the end of this month, I’ll be heading back to Los Angeles after 2 1/2 years here in Dallas. I’ve met some great people here in DFW, but I’m really looking forward to going home to the West Coast!
Over the last few months, a lot of people here in Dallas have contacted me, asking if I’ll be showing my work in another gallery show before I leave (alas, I’m not…and probably won’t show here for another year or two). But, after some thinking, I decided it would be fun to do a one day only little “studio tour”…but without the studio!
My good friend, artist Joey Seeman, offered up his garage to host this little soiree, so we’re just gonna open it up to the public to drop by! No gallery hoo-ha, no pristine white walls, no boxed wine…just a ton of art (and of course various tools, boxes, and garage-oriented accoutrements…LOL). Pretty much ALL of my available current work (as well as a few older pieces I’ve held onto) will be there, and available for purchase! We’re just going to throw everything on the walls, onto tables — just a total makeshift lo-fi space!
The event will take place on Saturday, August 14th, from 12 – 5pm. If you’re in Dallas / Fort Worth, stop on by! A little flyer is below, but you can read all about the event on my Facebook invite by CLICKING HERE!
In other news, an interview I did over the weekend with an interesting art blogsite called ArtHash just went live! The blog itself has some very interesting articles and POV’s, and I highly suggest all you artists and art lovers alike to check it out and give it a read.

This is going to be a crazy month, and will probably speed by…there might be some other tidbits of news, but chances are I might not be posting anything until I’m back on L.A. time…I guess we’ll just have to see! ;-)
