A couple days ago, I completed a brand new 2 x 3 foot nude piece entitled “UMAMI”. The piece turned out so well that The 4th Wall Gallery wanted a shot at selling it, so it’s one of the new adds to the gallery for my current show with Glenn Barr and Joey Seeman. The exhibit now ends on March 1st, and I’ve added 8 new pieces, bringing the total to 2 dozen works! (see my previous posting below for more details)
Below is an image of the full piece & some detail shots, which is now also available on my website at http://www.thh70online.com. I hope you like it as much as I do! The creation of the piece was filmed and edited into a video by yours truly (with some filming help from C. Kirk):

I’ve been having a lot of fun with my new Flip Video HD camcorder (I highly recommmend picking up one if you’re in the market for a new digital camcorder). So much so, that I also filmed the creation of one of my new paper pieces entitled “Good Way” (there’s several new paper pieces on the website, actually…take a look!).

11 x 14″
mixed media on Strathmore Bristol 100lb. acid-free paper
Most importantly, with the recent turn of events in Haiti, I decided this last month that I would donate 20% of all art sales off my website (as well as sales from my current gallery show) to the American Red Cross to aid in relief for the people of Haiti. Thank you to all those that made purchases in January! I’ve decided to carry this over thru March 1st when the gallery show ends. So, this is just a little notice for all of you to know that a portion of your purchases thru March 1st will be donated
to all those affected by the recent devastation caused by the earthquakes.
