First off, Happy Holidays! :-)
It’s been a few weeks since my last blog…this holiday season has been keeping me busy with commissioned work as well as a few other art-related projects to get myself primed for 2010 (including a planned visit back home to L.A. next month in preparation of my move back there permanently!).
I should be beginning work next week on my huuuuge commissioned painting on an almost 9 foot tall 1950’s-style wooden surfboard(!), so I’m pretty excited to get started. Recently I finished another painting for the same collector…check it out:
In between commission work, I’ve had a little time to complete some smaller works to round out the year: “Droit Moral”, “Reductio Ad Absurdum”, and “There’s An App For That”, the latter of which has already sold. The other 2 pieces are available on my website.
I’m in the midst of working on my calendar of shows for 2010 / 2011. I hope to announce some things after the 1st of the year! I’m really looking forward to what will come my way this coming year, as 2009 has really been ending with a bang. I can’t wait to continue not only the momentum as I plan my return to Los Angeles, but to keep building the relationships I have with the kind supporters of my work.
I have a great feeling that 2010 will bring some great things…for all of us! :-)
